There is a particular nature, of the universe, that I find very beautiful and inspirational. The idea that everything in the universe has a very deep, profound, intimate connection. Nothing can exist in the universe without having some effect on the universe. Nothing in existence can escape being connected to the entire universe. This connection that you have with the universe and everything in it goes deeper than you or I will ever know. Think of all the people in your life that have had an effect on you and your life. Think of all the events, the observations you've made, even inanimate objects that have had an effect on you. Even insignificant experiences shape the neural networks in your brain. Think of the connections your consciousness has with your body, your cells, your emotions in the form of chemical reactions in your body. The atoms that make up your cells were constructed and fused inside a star that exploded long ago. Think of the angle of the Earths axis causing seasons, affecting all life on Earth. Think of the meteor that crashed here long ago and killed the dinosaurs. The billions of years of evolution on Earth that brought about our existence. The global ecosystem, and how every life form that is a part of the ecosystem depends on the collective. Our mother Earth, and the sun, our father, radiating the energy that makes up all life on our planet. From microcosm to macrocosm, the connection is sooo intimate and infinite. The entire universe. The commonality that is shared throughout the universe goes just as deep. We, it, is all One.
Everything you do, no matter how big, or insignificant, your very existence, has a profound effect on reality.
